Adam and I met July 14th, 2006 and officially started dating a couple months later in early September. We discovered a mutual love of traveling after our first weekend away together in New York City.

I had not traveled much outside the US in 2006, but had recently developed aspirations to do so. Adam had been to Europe quite a few times, and wanted to go back. There was a desire to wander foreign and US city streets, to take in the history, culture, food, nightlife and quite simply to have new and hopefully exciting experiences, together. The wanderlust combined with a need for relaxation additionally finds us venturing to warm, sunny beach locales. So while we're celebrating our anniversary in Spain, here's a look back on five years of us at our best!
