I wasn't sure if putting my 101 crazy nail polish colors or my love for shot taking on the blog would go over well. Reading your comments on 10 Random Things made me laugh and realize we actually have a lot in common. Today I even spotted purple toes on Jamie at La Vie...J'aime and blue toes on Anne at Food Loving Polar Bear. Anne's picture was crazy similar to mine in that both our pictures were taken on our trips to the Cote d'Azur and we both have tiny rocks plastered to our feet. Take.me.back....Anywhoo, sometime ago I made us penne with Classic Pesto That Will Change Your Life. I had a boatload of basil and it needed to be put to good use.

Paired with some roasted red peppers,

and a couple slices of Bova's bread.

I also put my basil to good use in caprese salads.

etc.

An even longer time ago Adam made classic spaghetti and meatballs in red sauce. We're very into the classics over here, can you tell? The sauce was from a jar, but those meat-a-balls are homemade.

Smoothies are a blog community classic. I made this one with whatever frozen fruit happened to be in my freezer.

-Bananas
-Mangoes
-Blackberries

I might have thrown a scoop of vanilla ice cream in for good measure.
