Fireworks Spectacular

It is a Non Summer Flex week at the office, so there will be no Friday Summer Lunch Series today. My company deems the 4th of July week non-flex because a standard Holiday occurs and it's easier to have everyone, flex and non flex, participate in the holiday (using standard PTO) and work 8 hour days. On a positive note - the week flewww by. Monday off + 8 hour days (as opposed to my normal 10?) Yea, it flew.

It was fun to see Roots Down Below play, a local Cape Cod band. Summers home from college I used to see them play on a weekly basis. They rock.
The next morning Mom made a batch of blueberry pancakes with flax seed.

Accompanied by blueberry compote in pure maple syrup.
