Last night, I had the opportunity to attend a fabulous event at
Wilson Farm in Lexington. Wilson Farm invited over 250 women to enjoy an evening of wine, food, music and lots (and I do mean, lots) of pastries. I have never been to Wilson Farm before but I've had many conversations via Twitter with
Chef Todd Heberlein who runs the kitchen at Wilson Farm. And it was actually at Chef Todd's invitation that I found myself at this event with my fellow food blogger pals,
Alicia and
Elizabeth.
Here are some photos from last night's event:
A warm welcome for a Friday evening. |
Lots of fruit... |
The wine was flowing all evening. |
Just a small sampling of the many tasty bites at Wilson Farm. |
Chef Todd Heberlein was happy to explain what he was cooking up. |
The pastry chefs were putting this sleigh together throughout the evening. |
This is definitely a "wow" cake! |
There were a lot of pastries... |
Mini tarts... |
And more pastries.... |
Bread and cheese tables. |
A gingerbread house comes together. |
Beautiful fruit crumbles. |
Another gorgeous display! |
I could smell the sizzling meat from across the room. |
Who can pass up tender filet mignon wrapped in bacon? |
Food bloggers can find crowd relief in the jam aisle. |
You have no idea how many photos we posed for! |
There were so many wonderful displays of prepared foods, meats, cheeses, pastries and baskets. Alicia and I have already planned our next trip back to Wilson Farm to stock up our kitchens!
Thanks to Chef Todd Heberlein for inviting me to this fabulous event!
Wilson Farm is located at 10 Pleasant Street, Lexington, MA.
