The view was absolutely stunning but I was too busy happily soaking up the sun to take any photos of the atmosphere. As I started to unwind, I started to get really hungry. Since the roof currently offers a limited dining menu, we headed down to the first floor to grab some dinner. There was a long wait for a table on the dining floor. Our hostess offered us a table in the more casual raw bar and take-out area, which we happily accepted.
I started out with a bottle of Bar Harbor Blueberry Ale. I love fruity beers during the summer and this was definitely refreshing.
I haven't had a lobster roll all summer and I was definitely craving one that night. I figured it was time to give into my summer craving and this lobster roll didn't disappoint.
This classic lobster roll was chock full of lobster meat with a good mixture of claw and knuckle meat. The lobster wasn't too heavily dressed and it was served on a perfectly grilled and buttered bun. The fries weren't anything special but it didn't stop me from finishing them all!
Despite battling traffic to get there, I had a lovely time at Legal Harborside. And I'm glad that I finally had my first lobster roll of the summer!
Tell me, where do you think is the best place in town to get a lobster roll?
Legal Harborside is located at 270 Northern Avenue at Liberty Wharf, Boston, MA.
