My Time in The Kitchen Is...

few and far between.
enjoyable.
slow paced.
not missed if I am absent.
an attempt to use whatever is in the fridge or cabinet.
not going to produce meals worthy of winning any competitions.
usually successful.

After blogging for 7 months and reading food blogs for over a year now, I've had some time to reflect on this subject. I'm not super creative in the kitchen, in fact some of what I prepare in general is lacking originality. I still enjoy the food and a photograph or two or ten. I hope you guys do too.

{Summer}
Cous Cous, sauteed broccolini, avocado & tomato.
Tomato Basil Linguine.
Panko Crusted Cod Fish with rice pilaf, asparagus & tomato.{Fall}
Baked Potato smothered in sour cream with a corn & onion succotash.
Chili Rubbed Steak Tacos
with sauteed peppers & onions, cheddar cheese, sour cream, radishes & cilantro.
I did a pretty good job cooking the steak! Mozzarella Pork Cutlet
with spaghetti in a lemon butter caper sauce & sauteed zucchini.I overcooked the pork.

No recipes. Just randomness.
