1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder

It was raining in Boston so luckily my plan to wear my ski coat to save space in my bag works out in my favor.
Getting to Logan Airport from my apartment the North End couldn't be easier. I live on the western perimeter of this very small neighborhood, so a mere five minute walk gets me to the Blue Line Aquarium T stop.
From there it's only two stops to Airport station and a quick shuttle ride to Logan where I met Ashley and Erin. We breezed through security and had plenty of time to spare on the other side. Imbibing at the airport bar has a strange ability to make a flight go by much faster, hence arrival to vacation relaxed and ready to take on the day or night. The three of us headed straight for Beer Works where I ordered the Bunker Hill Blueberry Ale.
A sweet, very light, golden ale made with fresh Maine blueberries.
I also ordered a side of Sweet Potato Fries to share. They came in a large tin basket with a raspberry aioli dipping sauce.
While boarding the plane Erin and I were stopped and told we'd need to check our bags as there was no more overhead space. No worries, I've had a large beer, I'm relaxed, take my bag and shove it under the plane free of charge. I don't even care that I have to wait at baggage claim. After we reached cruising altitude I splurged on a Finlandia Vodka nip ($6) but trust me, these nips are worth every penny to keep your buzz going. I got this with tomato juice. I realized after I could have gotten the legit bloody mary mix - oops.
A little while later my travel companions joined me in my expensive airline imbibing. It was $6 Bacardi Rum and cokes next!
We touched down in Denver and after a quick stop in the
We were in for some gorgeous weather all weekend long. One minute outside and I'm already taken in by the vast Colorado Sky.
We boarded the Super Shuttle for the last one-hour leg of our journey to Boulder. We are pretty important and the paparazzi immediately began snapping photos upon our arrival.
The paparazzi is actually Laura's boyfriend Craig.
He took some amazing group shots for us this trip, so any picture that looks extremely clear and has all us girls in it, he gets the credit. Once inside we settled in and caught up over some beers, cheese and crackers. I drank my first of many throughout the trip - a New Belgium Fat Tire Amber Ale.
Their fridge was stocked full of these brews. After we finished our beers and freshened up a bit, we headed out for our first night on Pearl Street!!
